    SUMMARY

    The Inventory Management Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the measurement, analysis, and presentation of defined operational and financial performance metrics for Inventory Management team and Armada strategic clients.

    The Analyst will lead the development and on-going maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and standard operational procedures.

    Additionally the Analyst will provide analytical support and assist in the development of performance metrics for pilot projects and growth initiatives.

    Projects can be self-directed or assigned at the request of Inventory Management leadership.

    This position will collaborate with Supply and Demand Planning teams and Armada functional areas on an ongoing basis to help define, scope and design appropriate analysis.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Facilitate requirements gathering, design, development, testing, administration, and publication of scorecards and metrics, including tracking and trending of issues, root cause identification and corrective action activity.
    • Coordinate with Inventory Management, LOG functional areas, Account Management, Finance, SCE and IT to develop appropriate KPI and other metrics for service offerings ensuring consistent data source, calculation, and publication ownership across all clients.
    • Coordinate with Inventory Management to ensure consistent subject matter and format across all clients and teams for performance measurement as well as monthly and quarterly business reviews.
    • Perform analysis and provide/collect commentary of key impacts for each scorecard
    • Proactively review/analyze supply chain data to identify operational process efficiency and/or cost savings opportunities.
    • Suggest enhancements to existing dashboards, reports, and processes.
    • Maintain a high level of familiarity with all Armada business systems and data sources to effectively retrieve all required data to analyze operational performance.
    • Develop SOP documentation related to routine scorecards and dashboards
    • Develop productive working relationships with internal/external customers.
    • Support and promote a culture of teamwork and continuous process improvement while managing the day to day activity to ensure delivery of all relevant Armada and client objectives
    • Provide ad-hoc analysis and data pulls upon Inventory Management leaderships requests
    • Other duties as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education and Experience Requirement

    Minimum:

    • Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain Management

    Experience:

    • 1-4 years experience in a supply chain related capacity
    distribution, transportation, supply planning, forecasting, customer service, SC technology, etc

    • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain management and supply chain knowledge including distribution and logistics, procurement, manufacturing, transportation, inventory management, accounting, supply chain engineering, supply chain visibility, etc
    • Demonstrated project management and superior personal productivity skills

    • Ability to analyze large amounts of raw data and summarize into clear, accurate, meaningful, value-added reports and analysis
    • Direct experience with JDE and data warehouse applications; experience with Advanced Planning Systems, IMS, TMS, WMS, and/or business intelligence systems a plus.
    • Solid problem solving skills, with demonstrated experiences of individual and team based problem solving.
    Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt certification a plus

    • Proficient in report development and automation.
    • Strong SQL skills and solid understanding of database concepts
    • Experience with SQL report development
    • Experience with TIBCO Spotfire, Power BI or similar visualization technologies
    • Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS Advanced Analytics services a plus
    • Experience in inventory management and/or proven mastery of business analytics as it relates to inventory management is a plus
