- Use tools to sand surfaces and eliminate rust, scratches, and dents
- Mask off unpaintable areas
- Apply primer to prepare surfaces for painting
- Clean surfaces post-painting prep
- Adhere to safety protocols for a secure work environment
- Maintain and clean equipment such as sanders and spray guns
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as an Auto Body Paint Prepper or similar role
- Proficient in automotive painting techniques like sanding, masking, and priming
- Physical stamina and dexterity, capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license
- ASE certification in Painting and Refinishing is a bonus
- I-CAR certification in Painting and Refinishing is preferred
