Water/Wastewater Construction Inspector - Rancho Cordova

Job summary
We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Construction Inspector for work in Rancho Cordova or Manteca CA office locations . The position will perform a variety of investigation and construction related work in support of small and large infrastructure projects.Responsibilities include monitoring contractor operations for compliance with contract plans provisions and specifications executing field measurements of pay items maintaining daily diaries materials notebooks redline as-built plans understanding progress schedules work orders and monthly estimates over see and document materials testing such as soil compaction concrete asphalt field tests . Required skills include high school graduate or GED equivalent associates degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required 6+ years of experience in construction inspection Water or wastewater facility inspection experience preferred applicant should be experienced with foundations buildings underground utilities earthwork asphalt concrete works timely fashion to meet project requirements communicates effectively with clients coworkers sub consultants contractors agency review staff additional requirements include excellent communications skills ability to read interpret plans specifications ability to perform quantity engineering computations physically able to work outdoors all weather conditions terrains driving is requirement position clean driving record required ,
Qualifications
High school graduate or GED equivalent Associates degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required. Experience:- 6+ years of experience in construction inspection
- Water or wastewater facility inspection experience preferred
- Familiarity with foundations buildings underground utilities earthwork asphalt concrete.
