The Pancreatic Diseases Nurse is involved in planning, triage, clinic and education.
They work closely with other nurses as well as physicians, pharmacists, APP's, and an entire multidisciplinary team dedicated to helping these patients.
This position is also involved in clinical trial coordination and care that encompasses the research continuum from referral of the patient through long-term follow-up.
This nurse will assume responsibility for the study coordination and meeting regulatory requirements of each research study protocol for investigators in the Pancreatic Cancer Center of Excellence (PCCE).
