    Job Summary:

    This is an hourly position that reports to the Maintenance Manager. Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the overall maintenance of all manufacturing, facility, and support equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on all production and supporting equipment. Must communicate and interact with maintenance, production, and quality department personnel. Must be electrical certified.

    Job Functions:

    • Maintain, trouble shoot, and support and repair of all production equipment and supporting equipment, e.g., air compressor, coolers, turbine, and material storage tanks.
    • Determine materials, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stock.
    • Coordinate and participate in scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on all production and supporting equipment.
    • Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems in all production and supporting departments.
    • Ability to inspect, operate and maintain heating, cooling, ventilation system, and water treatment devices for the entire plant.
    • Coordinate with the supervisor scheduled and unscheduled work on the mechanical, electrical and other related systems throughout the entire plant.
    • Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
    • Must perform all work in a safe and efficient manner, as assigned per shift.
    • Ability to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other related systems of all production and supporting department equipment in a safe and secure manner.
    • Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, vendors, and contractors.
    • Must be able to read and understand complex written and oral instructions.
    • Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
    • Must be able to program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, and DC controllers.
    • Thorough understanding and knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:

    Skills/ Knowledge/ Experience:

    • Must be electrical certified.
    • 4-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must be able to fabricate and sanitary weld.
    • Must have strong problem-solving skills.
    • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
    • Must be flexible in daily schedule and willing to work overtime also during emergency situations.
    • Must have a good driving record.
    • Verbal and written English communication skills.
    • Will interact with multiple departments within the organization.
