Join Our Team as an Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Radiologic Technologist
Job Description:
- Be a vital part of a dynamic team supporting diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate stateoftheart fluoroscopic imaging equipment with expert proficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Demonstrate advanced technical competence in procedural imaging, radiation safety, and sterile technique.
- Maintain a sterile field and coordinate procedural workflows seamlessly.
- Exercise professional judgment while adhering to departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Provide compassionate patient care, recognizing conditions essential for procedural success.
- Report directly to the Unit Manager and Surgical Services Director.
Qualifications:

Education:
- Required:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Preferred: BS in Radiologic Science/Medical Imaging.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations:
- Required:
- Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI.
- ARRT certification, RT(R).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (or within 6 months of hire).
- Preferred: Certifications specific to areas of clinical specialty (e.g., RCIS, NIH Stroke Scale).

Experience:
- Required:
At least 1 year in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab managing fluoroscopy and scrubbing interventional cases.
- Preferred: At least 3 years' experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab.

Skills & Abilities:
- Operate fixed fluoroscopy equipment, portable ultrasound, IVUS.
- Provide care considering age-specific, cultural, physical, and psychosocial well-being.
- Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred.
- Work effectively with culturally diverse patient populations.
