    This will be a 3-month project working at the CLIENT information technology center with the possibility of extension.

    Remote Work Availability: 75%


    Required Education:

    • High school diploma and experience with Windows Server OS

    Certifications Required:

    • MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, or similar Microsoft certifications

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Performance Tuning - Advanced - Used Within 2 Years - 4 to 6 years experience
    • Active Directory - Advanced - Used Within 2 Years - 4 to 6 years experience
    • PowerShell - Advanced - Used Within 2 Years - 4 to 6 years experience
    • Windows Server OS - Advanced - Used Within 2 Years - 4 to 6 years experience
    • Extensive knowledge of windows server 2016/2019, active directory, and related Microsoft technologies
    • Excellent PowerShell scripting and automation. performance monitoring and tuning, large active directory administration
    • Three to five years of experience working in a mixed active directory and Linux environment within a VMware or other cloud-based enterprise environment

    • Host Based Firewalls
    • DNS knowledge
    • PowerShell

    • Splunk/Elasticsearch or similar logging technologies

    Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

    • Manages systems software. provides technical support in developing, maintaining, installing, and using operating systems and subsystems for mission critical systems
    • 40% - subject matter expert to create, install, and maintain system software on mission critical systems. tune systems for optimal performance. track system capacity. ensure system stability
    • 35% - collaborate and liaise with other units and serve as a technical resource and subject matter expert
    • 10% - train and advise less skilled systems programmers and provide expert technical assistance for others
    • 15% - contribute to research and development projects as required
