- Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing fixtures, HVAC systems, electrical outlets, and appliances. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Repairs: Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs efficiently and effectively.
- Painting and Finishing: Perform painting, caulking, and finishing tasks to maintain the appearance of interior and exterior surfaces. Patch and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address safety hazards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Emergency Response: Be available for on-call duty and respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular working hours. Address emergency situations such as floods, fires, and power outages as needed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment. Order supplies as needed and ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Previous experience in maintenance, construction, or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques for plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills for documenting and reporting maintenance activities.
- EPA I and II or Universal certification required.
- CAMT certification preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus
