    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Design, code, debug and develop high performance and high availability scalable applications, utilizing Java programming languages.
    • Develop technical interfaces, specifications and assist the architect when necessary.
    • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
    • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
    • Applies in-depth technical knowledge to provide maintenance solutions across one or more technology areas.
    • Participates in troubleshooting complex issues and resolving defects.

    Desired Skills:

    • Java frameworks, for example, Spring Boot, Micronaut.
    • Experience working in containers.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong knowledge of IBM Filenet P8 platform. Knowledge of Document Viewers and integration services.
    • Analyze business requirements, prepare technical design documents, and provide leadership for design, configuration, and integration.
    • Development: Configure, code, and test enhancements and modifications to FileNet applications.
    • Support: Support existing FileNet applications and troubleshoot FileNet and its supporting applications.
    • Standards: Improve and enforce current software development standards and practices.
    • Document management: Develop and support custom and off-the-shelf document management solutions.
    • Web services: Develop and configure custom applications and web services.
    • Security: Verify document security.
    • Production: Monitor production systems and resolve production issues.
    • Strong Attention to detail.
    • Must work well in a team setting.
    • Must be willing to share knowledge and help mentor other team members.
    • Familiarity with architectural styles/APIs (REST/SOAP/RPC).
    • Work in an agile team environment.
    • Manage and complete assigned tasks in Azure DevOps.
    • Experience with version control tools (GIT, Azure DevOps).
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
    • Knowledge of security code scans tools such as SonarQube.
    • Strong skills developing proper unit testing of code.
