    About the job Software Engineer

    Contribute to software development projects that enhance business operations and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Work on a variety of ongoing projects, including processing monthly payments, enhancing online services, and re-engineering client-server applications.
    • Participate in Agile Scrum teams of 4-7 members, led by ASRS business and technology leaders.
    • Collaborate with experienced Technical Leads to ensure team success.
    • Develop automated tests, user interface, controller logic, back-end services, and database operations.
    • Stay current with popular frameworks and technologies, including JQuery, Bootstrap, Java 8, Cucumber, Selenium, Apache Tomcat, Spring Framework, and Oracle databases.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Software Development or Information Technology (desired).
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Technology.
    • 3 years of experience developing Java web applications or web services.
    • 2 years of experience developing automation test scripts.
    • Familiarity with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) / Test Driven Development (TDD).
    • Proficiency in key technologies, including JQuery, Bootstrap, Java 8, Cucumber, Selenium, Apache Tomcat, Spring Framework, and Oracle databases.
    • Experience working in Agile Scrum teams with Atlassian Agile and JIRA.
    • Comfortable with on-site work and hybrid options based on team requirements.

    Additional Requirements:

    • 7-year national county criminal clearance requirement.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with DevOps-driven development pipelines.
    • Exposure to Cucumber and advanced automation testing techniques.
    • Knowledge in Agile Scrum frameworks, including working with Scrum Masters and Product Owners.
