ROLE OVERVIEW

Exciting opportunity for a Plant HR Manager to become part of Adient's automotive seating plant in Northwood, OH. The Human Resources Manager will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to support the company's objectives while fostering a productive and inclusive work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide advice to the Plant Manager on employee-related issues to enhance plant operations. Recommend policies and procedures to enhance employee relations.
Maintain positive relationships between employees and management. Communicate management's stance to employees and collect feedback on workplace sentiments and company programs.
Lead recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes. Implement performance review procedures and ensure compliance with labor laws and employee-related regulations.
Develop and oversee employee relations and personnel programs in alignment with corporate policies. Manage wage and salary administration, benefit programs, and maintain accurate personnel records.
Coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and commitment. Implement a proactive safety and accident prevention program.
Promote a culture of safety and compliance with regulations. Identify and report unsafe conditions and participate in safety initiatives.
Support the plant in meeting safety objectives and sustainability goals.
Represent the company in legal and administrative proceedings. Engage in professional and community organizations on behalf of the company.
Implement corrective and preventive actions as needed. Understand and adhere to Customer Specific Requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
Three to Five years of experience in Human Resource Management.
Preference for experience in a unionized plant environment.
