- Initiate or assist with the buying and selling of properties in the portfolio.
- Manages the research, analysis, and negotiating activities required to assess opportunities for acquiring additional locations, land, or buildings.
- Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery.
- Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects.
- Directs day-to-day construction project management planning and execution processes to meet project design requirements, schedules, and organizational financial objectives.
- Manages governance of projects by establishing standards, processes, and tools for effective project management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Uses comprehensive knowledge of construction processes and operations to set project productivity and quality targets.
- Monitors all project milestones, changes, and technical status reports.
- Responds to escalated project issues that may impede project delivery and coordinates solutions.
- Assists in the preparation, review, and administration of contractual proposals relating to construction projects.
- Responsible for preparing bids and negotiating specifications for materials, equipment, manpower, or other construction services.
- Secures all necessary approvals and ensures that standard company procedures are followed.
- Liaises with clients, designers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, costs, and meeting plans are documented and communicated.
- 2+ years of property management or like experience
- Ability to work on-site with up to 40% travel.
- Ability to build trust and establish strong relationships across diverse teams, combined with an ability to influence without direct authority.
- Superior analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Should have the desire to work with others to solve problems and bring about positive change.
- Highly organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
