    Description

    Expectations:


    Expand and develop the necessary skills to become a competent provider of pharmaceutical care, which is the evaluation, distribution, and monitoring of prescribed therapy which provide positive patient outcomes.

    Obtains or maintains a California Pharmacist license. This position may require flexibility of hours.

    EDUCATION:

    Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy required. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required or proof of Diploma required within 60 days of hire/transfer.

    EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:

    Internship in progressive hospital practice preferred

    LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:


    Required:
    Current Pharmacy Intern Licensed issued by California State Board of Pharmacy, or an active pharmacist license issued by another state
    Current unrestricted Registered Pharmacist license (RPH) issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy obtained within six (6) months of hire
    Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
