    REGISTERED NURSE JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY:

    The Registered Nurse is a PRN position that conducts initial client assessments, creates plans of care, conduct supervisory visits, completes competency assessments for in home aides, reviewing notes, participating in meetings, and waiting to be engaged during hours you have signed up for

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. Licensed in North Carolina and/or South Carolina as a Registered Nurse.2. Requires detailed documentation skills3. Requires physical mobility (e.g. visiting client's homes) and the ability to do some lifting (e.g. demonstrating how to move a client with physical limitations).


    RESPONSIBILITIES:


    Visits new clients in their home, completes assessments, and creates thorough plans of care, within 24 hours of the initial visit.

    Conducts supervisory client visits with clients at least quarterly and clients and caregivers at least annually, updating the plan of care.

    Validates that in home aides demonstrate the skills required for their positions.
    Conducts staff training as requested by the Agency Director or their designee.
    Participates in company events internally and in the greater community, as requested.
    Observes confidentiality and safeguards all client related information in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.

    Investigates and reports to the Agency Director or their designee any problems relating to client care or conditions which might harm the client and/or employee well-being.

    Immediately reports any accident, incident, lost articles, unusual occurrences, or risks to the Agency Director or their designee.
    Documents visits and conversations thoroughly and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
    Answers questions from staff regarding the delivery of the plan of care and changing client conditions.
    Is an enthusiastic champion for the company's mission, goals and objectives.
    Responds to requests from office management in a timely manner.


    WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

    Works indoors in the home care office and conducts client in-home visits & supervisory visits and other marketing / goodwill visits as suggested by the office leadership

    Ability to perform the following tasks if necessary:

    Ability to participate in physical activity.
    Ability to work for short periods of time while standing and being involved in physical activity.
    Moderate lifting.
