As a Provider Credentialing Supervisor, you will create and maintain partnerships with payers and employees for SSG, to ensure that staff meet the necessary qualifications, requirements, and standards.
In this position you will:
Ensure that the Credentialing team collects employee credential documents
within one week
of their onboarding.
Ensure the Credentialing team updates records in Central Reach and ConCred
within two business days
upon receiving a request or task.
Process service code and label requests
within two business days
of receiving the request or task.
Determine and assess Credentialing team service level expectations and performance.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Manage a team of credentialing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and accurate credentialing processes.
Stay informed about changes in credentialing requirements, regulations, and insurance policies, and ensure that providers remain in compliance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing records across SSG databases
Coordinate the credentialing and re-credentialing process for providers, including initial applications and updates as needed (terminations, name changes, etc.).
Update and manage provider portals as necessary to ensure compliance with the requirements of essential payers
Gather and maintain all necessary documents and information for credentialing, such as licensure, certifications, and SSG provider packets.
Create CAQH accounts on behalf of providers who lack existing accounts and maintain CAQH accounts for both current and new providers.
Notify the providers and supervisors of in-network effective dates with payors.Follow up on all outstanding credentialing/re-credentialing files with payors via phone or email to ensure all providers are included in the network.
