GENERAL SUMMARY
Under the direction of a technologist / radiologist, the imaging care technician (ICT) is responsible for direct patient care considering age specific, developmental, cultural and spiritual needs.
Assists in establishing and maintaining a patient care environment that is clean, safe and conducive to patient/family well being including concepts of relationship centered care.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs specific tasks as delegated. Provides timely feedback and follow up to radiology staff regarding patient response. Receives and provides report to other caregivers.
Promptly responds to patient requests. Inform patients about planned procedures and treatments in order to reduce fear and anxieties and to encourage patient cooperation.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSUREEducation:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Previous related experience in the area of patient care delivery preferred. Successful completion of a formal department orientation is required to meet the quality and productivity standards of the job.
