- Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and other prep.
- Set up workstations and ingredients so that food can be prepared according to recipes.
- Undertake basic cooking duties, such as reducing sauces and parboiling food.
- Prepare simple dishes, such as salads and entrees.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and taking out trash.
- Ensure that all food and other items are stored properly.
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
- Complete necessary food and station preparation prior to the opening of the restaurant in order to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently during the restaurant operating hours.
- Prepare and display buffet food items according to the hotel standards.
- Recognize quality standards in fresh vegetables, fish, dairy, and meat products.
- Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.
- Bake, grill, steam, and boil meats, vegetables, fish, poultry, and other foods.
- Maintains a clean, healthy, and safe working area along with awareness of all sanitary practices.
- Performs any other duties as assigned by management.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of dishwashing or kitchen experience required, hospitality industry preferred.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, oral, or scheduled form.
- Ability to read, write, and speak effectively in English in order to communicate with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of reservation and POS systems.
- Ability to work with computers and good knowledge of operating software preferred.
- Must be able to multi-task and be detail oriented.
- Must be a team player.

We are looking for a dedicated dishwasher who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced culinary environment.
The dishwasher's duties include removing soiled plates and flatware from tables, washing them thoroughly, restocking items, unloading delivery trucks, help prepare cook stations, clean appliances and machines, empty and clean trash receptacles, and other duties as needed.
