    Job Summary
    Reporting to the Executive Director/Administrator, the Director of Nursing (DON) will lead Skilled Nursing (including post-acute care, palliative, long term and memory support) and Assisted Living (both CBRF and RCAC) through the Nursing department. As a member of the facility interdisciplinary team, the DON will contribute to the strategic planning process and bringing forward innovative ideas and operational improvements consistent with the organizational vision, mission and core values. The DON will ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and be responsible for successful survey outcomes.

    The DON will be an advocate for person-centered, resident-directed living. The DON will lead and ensure a comprehensive assessment process for each resident and be committed to holistic wellness. The DON will assist in the preparation and successful management of the budget for the assigned areas of responsibility. As the chair of the Quality Assurance and Performance (QAPI) committees, the DON will establish the highest quality of care programs.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
    • Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
    • Knowledge and/or experience in geriatrics.
    • Management experience preferred.
    • Knowledge and/or experience with state and federal regulations.
    • Current CPR
