    Come be a part of our growing Behavior/Mental Health team AFull-Time Medical Assistant will work within a supportive team of Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, and nursing staff toprovide ongoing support to the community we serve.

    The Medical Assistant is responsible for managing the providers schedule, collaborating within the team to coordinate care, obtaining medical records, scheduling appointments and providing direct care to the clients during office visits.


    Job Functions:
    Direct oversite and management of providers schedule,utilizing an electronic medical record for chart review and telehealth appointments,develop strong, supportive relationships with clients, interacting with clients in order to assess needs, obtain vital signs, coordination of medical and psychiatric care with clients' support network ( e.g. family members, other service providers), active collaboration with other agencies to coordinate client treatment, liaison with local pharmacies which fill prescriptions for clients' medications, and prepare lab requests and obtain results,

    The Medical Assistant is an integral part of the client's Behavioral/Mental Health team.

    Requirements

    Certified Medical Assistant preferred, experience workingin Behavioral/Mental Health settings preferred. Bilingual is not essential but preferred. Solid computer skills, technical skills, and experience working in various electronic medical records is a plus.


    Salary

    $21 per hour
