    Role
    The principal's role is to lead and manage the education of all students within a community, utilizing available resources effectively.
    In addition, the principal acts as the executive officer of the school council, ensuring proper advice, decision implementation, and resource provision for council activities.
    Responsibilities
    The principal is responsible for overseeing the school's management and development in alignment with state guidelines and government policies.
    • Deliver a comprehensive education program to all students
    • Act as the school council's executive officer
    • Manage financial systems according to set requirements
    • Represent the Department and the school in the local community
    • Implement school council decisions
    • Contribute to system-wide activities and planning
    • Manage and integrate school resources efficiently
    • Engage staff, students, and the community in school policies and operations
    • Report school achievements to relevant stakeholders

    Qualified individuals registered or eligible for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching are welcome to apply.

    VIT LANTITE
