- Create comprehensive plans for the precision machining and assembly processes required to execute statement of work.
- Convert drawings or solid models into practical work instructions and sequences.
- Develop detailed work instructions and operational documentation.
- Maintain reports and records to track project progress.
- Input and maintain project-related data in the ERP system.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency for efficient project management.
- Create and optimize CNC programs based on engineering drawings.
- Use CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths and strategies.
- Plan integration of machined components with purchased hardware.
- Oversee assembly to ensure final assemblies meet quality standards.
- Monitor machining and assembly processes for quality control.
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure project standards are met.
- Work with engineering, production, and quality teams for seamless execution.
- Provide project status updates and resolve technical concerns.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Uphold safety standards throughout planning and execution.
- Identify and address potential safety hazards proactively.
- 7+ years of prior experience working as a Manufacturing Engineer, or something similar, within an aerospace/defense machine shop.
- Proven experience with routing and process development/creating in JB2 ERP Software.
- MasterCam or Gibbs CAM programming expert.
- Understanding of 5-axis programming.
- Understanding of machining processes, including milling, turning, drilling, and grinding, as well as knowledge of materials and cutting tools.

Position Summary
Delva Tool & Machine (DTM), a CMT company, is seeking a Contract Manufacturing Engineerfor our Cinnaminson, NJ location. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for carrying out quality assessments and measurements on products within specified dimensions.
*This is a contract position for approximately a 90-day period of time. The position will work a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm. The pay range for this position is between $ $72.12/hr. depending on experience*
