    Position Purpose

    The Franchise Development Specialist will manage and oversee the support functions as it relates to the qualification and sale of a territory(s) to new prospects and existing franchisees in the United States and Canada.

    Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
    Assist the Franchise Development Team with territory sales for new prospects and existing franchisees.
    Make outbound calls to prospective franchisees to build rapport and professionally represent the organization
    Uses independent judgement to answer questions from prospective franchisees within the guidelines of position.
    Independently and proactively communicate with potential franchisees on the franchise selection process
    Informational gathering on initial franchise candidates via telephone, text, and email
    Provide a market overview & territory analysis that is specific to the prospects' area of interest.

    Obtain necessary approvals for sales involving new and existing franchisees by working directly with the Senior Management Team and other approving parties related to the franchisee selection process.

    Uses discretion to determine and draft the legally required Franchise Agreements, and other related documents/agreements required to complete the sale of a franchise territory.

    Submit for signature and use judgment to review the returned necessary paperwork before sending to the legal department for execution and closing.

    Interdepartmental communication to keep all necessary parties informed of the deal status
    Assist the Franchise Development Team with other duties as it relates to the sale of a franchise territory.
    Other duties as assigned

    Position Qualifications
    Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and within a team
    Ability to multi-task in a high-volume sales environment
    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, FranConnect, GoToMeeting
    Prior experience with as a para-legal, accounting, or administrative sales a plus
    Prior experience and/or working knowledge of legal documents and agreements
