- Perform initial assessment of patient's medical, physical, and psychosocial status.
- Conduct follow-up visits and post-op evaluations.
- Perform various non-invasive cosmetic procedures.
- Provide medical direction to clinical staff.
- Handle prescription refill requests and conduct peer-to-peer reviews.
- Participate in clinical trial protocols and maintain professional development.
- Facilitate communication between office and hospital when necessary.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic functions within the designated scope of practice.
- Discuss medical plan/education with patients and serve as a liaison between physicians and patients.
- Utilize computer programs for documentation and communication.

Job Summary:
Functions in an expanded role as an advanced practice provider or Physician Associate, performing acts of medical diagnosis and prescription of medical therapeutics, in collaboration with a physician, primarily in outpatient and inpatient settings as required. Works with an interdisciplinary team to display the highest standards of ethical conduct, acting in the best interest of the organization.

Standing and walking for extended periods, occasional lifting and carrying, correct vision and hearing, ability to work under stress and irregular hours.
Equipment Operated:
Standard medical examination room equipment and computer systems.
Work Environment:
Combination of exam rooms and medical offices with exposure to various clinic conditions.
HIPAA Compliance: Access to PHI is required.
