    The Operations Research and Cyber Analysis (ORCA) group is seeking a Space Operations Analyst to provide on-site support in San Diego, CA to the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC) and Space Security & Defense Program (SSDP)
    The candidate would employ simulation system products in support of multi-domain military operations and the analytic process
    Operations Analysts at SPA apply Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) principles and tools to identify and analyze trends in data science to solve real-world problems
    Qualified candidates should be able to effectively communicate analytic results, future space capabilities, and modeling efforts to United States Space Force (USSF) stakeholders
    Responsibilities


    • Assist Program Manager and Team Leads in the day-to-day execution of space systems analysis and operations research projects
    • Support the development of digital models of complex real-world systems using commercial and proprietary software tools
    • Support the preparation of deliverables (presentations, written reports, etc.) to communicate analysis-based findings and recommendations to sponsors and stakeholders
    • Balance tasks across multiple projects concurrently and regularly communicate progress or challenges to task leads

    California Pay Transparency Range:
    $100K-$130K Qualifications Required Qualifications:


    • Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or Operations Research Bachelor's Degree
    • 2+ years space operations or space acquisition experience
    • 2+ years Operations Research / Systems Analysis experience
    • Experience with DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and/or Commercial Satellite systems

    Top Secret SCI eligibility Desired Qualifications:

    • STEM or Operations Research Master's Degree
    • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and Systems Modeling Language
    • Previous experience supporting space capabilities within NRO, SPACECOM, STRATCOM, INDOPACOM, and/or USSF
