    The QA Automation Engineer (Agile) serves as the Automation Engineer on the Agile team, analyzes, creates, and automates tests for the functional and security requirements of applications.

    This individual develops the automation strategy and generates scripts to perform automated testing during the sprints and overall regression testing.

    This individual is participates on the agile Scrum team working in partnership with other scrum team members to ensure the goals of the sprints are achieved by automating any test cases or repetitive testing tasks.

    The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to work successfully in a fast-paced Agile program, with multiple environments and technologies.

    The individual will work closely with other Agile Team Members/Scrum Team Members, Business SME's, other QA Test Engineers, stake-holders, executing test iterations, tracking / reporting results and troubleshooting.

    Individual must have strong understanding of SDLC processes, the QA lifecycle, Agile, DevOps and SQL.

    QA Automation Engineer (Agile) will demonstrate competencies in these job responsibilities:Serves as the QA Automation Engineer within an Agile team frameworkProvides QA expertise on tasks and estimates/sizing's to the Agile lead/Scrum MasterParticipates in design discussions/sprints to remove issues before they are codedUses testing experience to guide how the configuration and coding will promote an easy to use, user friendly and quality solutionConfigures and Manages Azure DevOps pipelines to execute Selenium test suites on environmentsValidates test data through automation scripts directly on UI and through API'sResponsible for creating and executing test design, test cases and scripts, verification/validation, systems integration testing and performance testingWorks with the Agile Team to resolve cross-functional issuesInterprets business and system design documentation and write test cases which provide complete requirements coverageDesigns test cases to include all steps and expected results in a format which can be executed manually or can be used for AutomationEnsures proper linking of test cases to developer tasks, requirements, stories and or defectsExecutes test cases and record results properly to include screen shots; defect managementParticipates in the designing Test Plans and Test ApproachCreates test data used in conjunction with test casesWorks with Developers to determine when test results are not expected results as per specificationsReviews defects for validity and priority with Scrum teamCoordinates with shared services organizations on specific testing issue resolutionsDevelops, enhances, and maintains tools/applications for a test automation framework supporting automated functional testing using a combination of off-the-shelf and custom-built systemsIntegrates current automation systems into a common test automation frameworkEstablishes requirements, evaluates, and recommends test automation toolsEstimates and plans for development of test automation frameworksDefines processes and standards for implementing test automationCreates automated tests for functional/GUI validation of company products and related componentsProvides detailed documentation and training on automation tools and applicationsEnsure adherence to standards and best practices (e.g.

    enterprise testing standards, etc.)

    Reports on Test Coverage estimated work effortsAbility to write status reports for themselves, projected risk analysis and next steps in work effortAligns test schedules to meet project time line testing expectationsDetermine test data needed for execution and identify data gaps in test environmentRequired Credentials and Experience:10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance software testing: functional, non-functional, integration, regression, negative and user acceptanceIn-depth knowledge of test planning, test case creation, test case execution and regression test suites/schedulingMust have been a lead for a projectExperience in performing Smoke, Functional, Integration, Regression, Browser Compatibility and End-to
    • End TestingGood knowledge and experience in manual and automatic software testing methodology, test development, and test executionAdvanced knowledge of software automation process and the ability to create traditional testingB.
    S. Computer Engineering or Computer Science (and/or significant related work experience)

    Solid experience with software technologies including:
