    Embark on a journey through the intricate landscapes of our world with GIS, the ultimate tool powering The National Map while co-leading a small team working to enhance the quality of elevation data and support various scientific research.

    As a member of the Geospatial Technical Services (GTS) Elevation Team, you will be supporting the US Geological Survey (USGS) National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC).

    Specifically, you will be working to advance the 3D Elevation Program (3DEP) and their mission to acquire and provide nationwide high-resolution lidar coverage to the public.

    Become a cornerstone in upholding the integrity and dependability of elevation data.

    As a pivotal team member, you will be entrusted with the crucial task of guaranteeing accuracy, consistency, and adherence to rigorous quality standards of collected elevation measurements.
