The Job

As we continue to expand our technological capabilities, we are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join and contribute to the advancement of our services.

As a QA Automation Engineer at Kuoni Tumlare, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and performance of desktop automation, with a particular focus on automating Finance processes for Lotus Notes.

This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a passion for learning and teaching.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation frameworks from scratch, ensuring that our automation meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of automation frameworks for desktop applications from scratch, with a specific focus on Lotus Notes.

Demonstrate a thorough understanding of automation principles and practices, as well as black box testing techniques.
Create Proof of Concept (PoC) to showcase potential automation solutions and improvements.
Continuously learn new technologies and methodologies in automation and share knowledge with the team, enhancing the team's overall expertise.
Possess strong soft skills with the ability to teach and mentor team members in automation techniques and best practices.
Collaborate closely with the development team to understand application features and functionalities, ensuring effective automation coverage.
Ensure the quality and reliability of automations through rigorous testing and maintenance practices.
Utilize strong communication skills to effectively convey ideas, requirements, and feedback to team members and stakeholders.
Exhibit self-sufficiency in managing projects and tasks, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation.


Requirements:
Proven experience in creating automation frameworks from scratch for desktop applications.
Strong technical background in programming languages and tools relevant to desktop application automation.
Comprehensive knowledge of automation principles, practices, and black box testing techniques.
Excellent teaching and mentoring abilities, with experience in developing the skills of others in automation practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a collaborative environment.
Self-motivated and self-sufficient, with a strong capacity for independent learning and knowledge sharing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
