    Who are we looking for?

    Our Americas Engineering Design Organization is expanding and looking for an entry-level Mechanical Process Engineer to join their team in Orlando, FL As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for the engineering evaluation, design and construction of water distribution and treatment and wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure projects in the Northeast region, as well as other regions of the United States.

    Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

    • Performing fundamental engineering calculations using spreadsheets and models
    • Writing technical memoranda
    • Sizing and layout of water and wastewater treatment equipment
    • Sizing and layout of piping and pumping systems
    • Developing designs of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure
    • Preparing technical specifications for process equipment, piping, and pumps
    • Performing hydraulic computations
    • Assisting with permit application preparation
    • Observing construction on behalf of the engineer in-charge
    • Performing design services during construction
    • Assisting in construction management and administration

    What you will bring to the team

    • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
    • Engineering In Training (EIT) certification preferred
    • 0-2 years of general engineering experience; internship experience considered a plus
    • Must possess design skills in hydraulics and water and wastewater treatment systems
    • Ability travel and work in the field as needed (may include overnight travel)
    • Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Revit a plus
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team and independently
