    Description

    Mediagistic is a rapidly growing national marketing agency primarily focusing on the home service industry. We are currently seeking an experienced Web Designer Contractor to join our dynamic team based in Tampa. At Mediagistic, we prioritize innovation, provide comprehensive training, and offer ample opportunities for professional development.

    This role is a 1099 contractor position, Monday to Friday, approximately 30 hours per week. The position allows for a hybrid or remote setup within Florida. Contractors are responsible for providing their own equipment.

    As a Web Designer, you will collaborate with various departments to grasp website requirements and surpass client expectations. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress, and Elementor is essential. Familiarity with jQuery, DNS, and PHP is a plus but not mandatory for this position.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop websites using HTML and CSS while emphasizing UI/UX principles.
    • Customize and manage websites using WordPress and Elementor platforms.
    • Stay abreast of the latest web technologies and trends to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of our websites.
    • Effectively communicate with team members and clients to ensure timely project delivery and adherence to specifications.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in website design.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, WordPress, and Elementor.
    • Knowledge of jQuery, DNS, and PHP is advantageous but not obligatory.
    • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for web layout and asset development.

    Reporting Structure:

    • Reports directly to the Web Design Manager.

    Work Environment/Physical Demands:

    • Tasks are carried out in a standard office environment, primarily involving desk work; minimal standing, walking, bending, and lifting may be necessary for task completion.
