    Come join our fast growing Advisory and CPA firm. The Senior Human Resources Specialist/Supervisor plays a pivotal role in managing various HR functions within an organization. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, operational oversight, and team leadership to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. The role involves collaborating with department heads, team members, and external stakeholders to support organizational objectives while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Strategic HR Planning:

    • Collaborate with partners and management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Analyze workforce trends, identify areas for improvement, and develop initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness.
    • Conduct regular assessments of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry best practices.
    • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, legal requirements, and best practices.
    • Develop new policies or revise existing ones as needed to support strategic initiatives, promote employee engagement, and mitigate risks.
    • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of internal and external factors that may impact the organization's human resources needs and capabilities. This includes factors such as industry trends, technological advancements, economic conditions, and regulatory changes.
    • Collaborate with senior management to define clear and measurable HR goals and objectives that support the organization's strategic priorities.

    2. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:

    • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
    • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent, including the use of social media and other innovative methods.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and provide guidance on workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies.
    • Develop a strategic workforce plan that outlines the organization's current and future staffing needs based on projected growth, turnover rates, retirement trends, and other factors.
    • Identify critical skill gaps and develop strategies to address them through recruitment, training, succession planning, or other talent management initiatives.

    3. Employee Relations and Conflict Resolution:

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
    • Conduct investigations into employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote positive employee relations and a respectful workplace culture.
    • Work with overseas HR team to ensure firm culture is consistent.

    4. Performance Management and Training:

    • Develop and implement performance management programs, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate the delivery of training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
    • Provide coaching and support to managers and employees on performance management best practices and techniques.

    5. Compensation and Benefits Administration:

    • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, including salary administration, bonus plans, and employee benefits enrollment for US based team.
    • Work with worldwide HR team members on worldwide compensation payments and compensation plans.
    • Conduct compensation benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive pay practices and equitable distribution of rewards.
    • Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll and benefits-related transactions.
    • Prepare quarterly reports for management review compensation throughout firm.

    6. HR Information Systems and Data Management:

    • Oversee the maintenance and management of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) databases and systems.
    • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, complying with data protection regulations and privacy laws.
    • Review and update HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, legal requirements, and best practices.
    • Develop new policies or revise existing ones as needed to support strategic initiatives, promote employee engagement, and mitigate risks.

    7. Team Leadership and Development:

    • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting communication, teamwork, and mutual respect throughout the firm.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to ethical conduct in all aspects of HR management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management, with a focus on strategic planning and leadership.
    • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR/SPHR is highly desirable.
    • In-depth knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices, with a proven ability to apply them effectively in a complex organizational environment.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization.
    • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite; experience with data analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Experience with Rippling payroll software preferred.
    • Experience with multi-state employment laws preferred.
    • Must be comfortable learning new software.
    • Experience with Excel and Word is required.

    Work Location and Timings:

    • Position is remote.
    • Must be able to work independently.
    • Working hours are CST, but there will be times to coordinate with international teams.
