Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Intern to join our team at Hantz Group, a Michigan-based financial company that works with individuals and businesses to achieve their financial goals. Our Family Office manages over $11B+ of assets, has 20+ offices, and employs over 600 professionals.

Tax Strategy and Planning

Our Tax Specialists provide strategies on how to minimize clients' taxes in the future. We believe tax planning is a proactive process that requires monitoring clients' tax situations throughout the year to deliver tax projections before finalizing their tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze tax liability
Prepare tax projections
Attend meetings and trainings
Assist the Tax Team in servicing clients
Comply with industry rules and regulations

Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Intentions of completing Enrolled Agent and/or Certified Public Accountant license
Ability to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
Strong analytical and communication skills

$45,000 - $60,000 per year
