Description
Command of the English language, both verbal and written.Graduate of an accredited school of medicine.
Documentation of continuing medical education course work, and experience in the treatment of specialized populations.
Must hold a valid, current license to practice medicine in Maryland.
Satisfactory completion of residency training in general psychiatry required. Staff child and adolescent psychiatrists must have completed a two year fellowship/residency in child and adolescent psychiatry.
For staff C&A psychiatrists, board certification in child and adolescent psychiatry is desirable.
For staff adult psychiatrists, board certification in adult psychiatry is desirable.
For staff psychiatrists who treat the geriatric population, added qualifications in geriatric psychiatry is desirable.
Comprehensive psychiatric care for patients as approved through Brook Lane's privileging and credentialing process and in compliance with Brook Lane policies.
Participation in the peer review process and continuous process improvement projects as required by the Chief Medical OfficerAttend and actively participate in all meetings of the multidisciplinary treatment team, Medical Staff, and assigned committees as required by the Medical Staff By-Laws.
Flexibility and willingness to work with patients and staff across Brook Lane's continuum of care (inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient).
Maintains documentation of services provided in compliance with Brook Lane policies.Please include "Staff Psychiatrist" in the subject line of the email.
