    Description

    About the Position:

    • The ProMedica Finnegan Family Autism Center offers the Autism Early Learning Program (AELP) providing early intensive behavioral intervention services for children diagnosed with Autism up to 6 years old.
    • AELP operates year-round, offering full day and partial day services with 1:1 ratios and small group options as needed, focusing on skills in communication, play, socialization, behavior, and adaptive skills through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

    Position Summary:

    • The Behavior Technician supports the delivery of behavior analysis services to children with autism under the supervision of a behavior analyst, focusing on implementing ABA treatment plans and tracking progress.
    • Responsibilities include maintaining daily records, ensuring safety during activities, and fostering professional communication with families.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
    • Self-motivated, independent worker with patience and enthusiasm
    • Documented experience with children with autism is advantageous
    • CPR certification required
