    The Talent Development Human Resources (HR) Specialist will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for our organization, as well as designing, implementing, and managing talent development programs to support the learning, growth, and career development of our employees

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
    Minimum Bachelors degree within Human Resources or Business Administration area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience requiredMinimum 5 years previous work experience in Human Resources with strong computer and time management skillsHR Certification is a plus (e.g., PHR or SHRM-CP)Proven experience in recruiter and talent development rolesExperience with ADP Workforce and Deltek Software is a plusFamiliarity with Federal and State employment laws preferredAbility to communicate verbally and with diplomacy over the telephone and in person with internal and external customersCommunicate with superiors, coworkers, and external clients regarding resolution of any concerns and/or problems, often requiring high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect information and resolve conflictAbility to develop and effectively present technical HR information to management and/or public groupsAbility to provide written documentation of policies and procedures, letters, status, and statistical reports and memosExceptional organizational skills , detail-oriented and able to meet deadlinesAbility to work independently with minimal supervision on directed and self-initiated tasksTeam playerSolid problem-solving and business acumen skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityValid drivers licensePositive service-oriented attitude toward the firm, our employees, and the clients


    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategiesSource candidates through various channels including job boards, colleges, professional organizations, social media, networking, and employee referralsScreen resumes and assist with interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the positionCoordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidatesConduct reference checks and background screenings as neededExtend job offers and negotiate salary packages with selected candidatesMaintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking systemProvide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment processStay informed of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisitionCoordinates new employee onboarding, including orientation sessions and trainingEnsuring appropriate hiring practices and efficiencies in hiringBuild and maintain relationships with candidates to create a pipeline of qualified talent for future opportunitiesCollaborate with managers to assess learning and development needs across the organizationDesign and implement talent development strategies, programs, and initiatives to address identified needsDevelop and maintain a comprehensive training curriculum that aligns with organizational goals, competencies, and career pathsDeliver training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities using a variety of methods, including instructor-led training, e-learning, and on-the-job trainingEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback, assessments, and metrics analysisProvide coaching, guidance, and support to employees and managers on career development and growth opportunitiesMaintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and program evaluationsResponsible for ensuring that job descriptions for all positions are up-to-date and accurateResponsible for ensuring that career pathways list for all disciplines are up-to-date and accurateMaintains and update affirmative action programParticipate on committees and special projects
