    FRONT DESK GUEST SERVICES


    We are looking for a vibrant, outgoing, friendly, smiling Front Desk agent to join our team at Hotel, Blackhawk, a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel in downtown Davenport, Iowa.

    Hipstoric, describes our hotel, a wealth of history along with a hip atmosphere. We are looking for candidates that share our company values of passion, humility and perseverance. This will be a person that can share his or her passion for hospitality with our guests

    THIS IS A SECOND SHIFT FULL TIME POSITION WITH A COMPLETE BENEFIT PACKAGE AFTER 90 DAYS TO INCLUDE HEALTH INSURANCES, COMPANY PROVIDED $50,000 LIFE INSURANCE, SUPPLEMENTAL INSURANCES, PTO, HOLIDAY PAY, MEAL - TRAVEL DISCOUNTS, CAREER OPPORTUNITIES AND MORE


    Job duties include:
    Guest Services: 90%

    Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner

    Anticipate and respond to guest requests

    H andle billing questions or inquiries

    Check guests in and out of the hotel

    Administrative: 10%

    Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working

    Comply at all times with hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations; exceeding Marriott standard

    Responsible for safety, sanitation, and cleanliness of service areas

    Maintain a professional working relationship and promote open lines of communication with managers, employees, and other departments

    Have knowledge of the hotel guest rooms, their locations, and amenities

    Conduct a daily house count and expected arrivals and departures

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS/

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    High school diploma or equivalent.
    Associate'sdegree in hospitalityor related field preferred.


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    While performing the duties of this job, the person must be able to remain ina stationary position. The person must be able to constantly operate a computer and telephone to communicate with potential guests.

    AVAILABILITY MUST INCLUDE WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS.
