    Description

    RCS Corporation has an immediate need for a Substation Physical Design Engineer in Knoxville, TN. This is a Full-time, Direct Hire, Hybrid assignment with our client.

    Overview of YOUR role as a Substation Physical Design Engineer:
    The Substation Physical Design Engineer will be involved in the application of latest design software and techniques, for application to state-of-the-art Power Substation design. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced substation design associates for development of constructable substation designs.

    As a Substation Physical Design Engineer YOU will:

    • Develop constructable substation designs
    • Work well as a team member as well as individually
    • Perform work safely.
    YOU are the ideal Substation Physical Design Engineer if you have:
    • 2-6 years of experience in Substation Physical Engineering or related design experience
    • successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) examination, with plans to complete the Professional Engineering registration.
    It's a BONUS if you have:
    • Bentley MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Electrical
    • Professional Engineering (PE) license
    • Engineer in Training (EIT)
