- The Diesel Technician - Class B keeps our associates safe by repairing, maintaining, and overhauling all company fleet diesel equipment to ensure a safe operation for associates' usage and ensure compliance standards are met.
- The Diesel Technician - Class B performs preventative maintenance of medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and convertor dollies under minimal supervision.
- Performs routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery requiring the use of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, and precision instruments, as well as power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, and jacks and hoists.
- Preferred certifications in tire & wheel, brakes, AC &/or EPA, DOT inspections, transmissions, engines, ASE Heavy Duty
