About the Position

We are excited to announce a new opportunity as a Monitor Technician with Cornerstone Healthcare Group, a respected healthcare provider based in Dallas, Texas. Join our team in making a real difference in the lives of our patients, residents, and families.

Responsibilities:

Assume responsibility for continuous monitoring of cardiac rhythms.
Monitor heart rhythm patterns using telemetry equipment and report outcomes.
Respond to alarms promptly and notify Licensed nurses of any significant changes.
Run EKG strips and provide initial interpretation.
Monitor other alarms and attend to call lights as necessary.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Ability to maintain a professional image.
Apply professional standards effectively in job situations.
Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in using personal computer and software applications.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a Monitor Technician Course or Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Competency.
Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, EMT, or paramedic preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory.
