    Logistics Coordinator

    Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, this role plays a crucial role in managing customer shipments via truck, demonstrating sound judgment in coordinating all facets of transportation logistics. This position requires self-accountability and a dedication to achieving results.

    Position Details:

    • Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour. (Based on Experience)
    • Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
    • Location: In-office position

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating with Specialized dispatch to communicate available freight and customer load expectations.
    • Resolving customer concerns, developing solutions, and reporting information to the Logistics Manager.
    • Answering incoming customer calls, addressing inquiries, negotiating pricing, and booking shipments.
    • Working towards achieving and maintaining company goals by booking expected loads per week/month.
    • Working closely with Customer Service/Sales Team Members to provide seamless communication.
    • Maintaining and tracking customer historical sales records in the provided software.

    Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • College degree or 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
    • Minimum one year of consistent employment within the last two years.
    • High School Diploma/GED.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
    • Strong customer service, phone skills, and computer proficiency.
    • Self-motivated and innovative, capable of working with minimal supervision.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
