The Instrument Man I provides effective and accurate layout by using various survey equipment available.
Performs layout activities as directed by the Party Chief, Superintendent, and/or Foreman for the installation of layout in a small to mid-size project.
Has an understanding of SQP goals and applies this knowledge to perform the work. Works in the field to resolve any conflicts with tolerances and field constructability issues. Contributes to safety on the project by perpetuating the IIF culture.Roles and Responsibilities
