We are looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a clean driving record to become our new Driver
Pay Range: $19.85-$27.00 hourly
Schedule: Monday - Friday
$2,500 SIGN-ON BONUS
What You'll Do:
CNA Drivers at our centers are responsible for safely transporting residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and other destinations. Your friendly demeanor and reliable service will ensure residents receive the medical assessment and care necessary for their rehabilitation and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive residents to medical appointments, outings, and other destinations according to the assigned schedule
- Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and facility policies to ensure the safety of passengers and others on the road
- Assist residents into and out of the vehicle
- Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs while driving
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure resident needs are met
- Communicate with administrative staff regularly to receive instructions or report delays and disruptions of service
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections, refueling, and immediately reporting maintenance needs
- Keep records of trips and the behavior of passengers

What You'll Bring:
Qualifications of a CNA Driver include:
- A current driver's license and excellent driving record are required
- Valid New York State Certified Nursing Assistant certification is required
- Previous experience in patient transportation or a similar role preferred
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Compassion, patience, and empathy in working with seniors
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
