    Job Summary

    Providing guests with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.

    Essential Job Functions

    This description is a summary of primary responsibilities and qualifications. The Hotel operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting times, and hours worked in a week.

    • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages.
    • Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
    • Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations.
    • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
    • Plan and present bar menu.
    • Check customers identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.
    • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
    • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
    • Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
    • Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to maintain a positive guest experience.
    • Anticipate guest needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
    • Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
    • Follow operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Provide quality beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
    • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    • Proven working experience as a bartender.
    • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
    • Computer literacy.
    • Knowledge of a second language will be considered a plus.
    • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean.
    • Relevant training certificate.

    Physical Demands

    • Position requires standing and walking for long periods of time and performing physical duties including lifting.
    • Occasional twisting, bending, stooping, and reaching.
    • Frequent talking, hearing, seeing, and smiling.
