    Job Description

    QuesTec Mechanical is seeking a skilled Commercial and Residential HVAC Technician. As an HVAC Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install, repair, maintain or replace HVAC systems
    • Follow systematic questioning techniques to determine unit/equipment functionality and/or failure
    • Communicate unit/equipment issues to manager and HVAC clients
    • Promptly complete all required paperwork daily, documenting work performed and time associated with calls/projects
    • Available to service emergency calls on week days, week nights and weekends, managed on a consistent rotation

    Qualifications:

    • Two years of experience in commercial or residential HVAC installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
    • Valid Missouri class E driver's license with clean driving record
    • EPA certification
    • Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent); Associates degree from accredited technical school in the HVAC program preferred
    • Knowledge of commercial or residential mechanical and electrical systems, HVAC preferred
    • Strong analytical skills with ability to read and interpret diagrams, plans and manuals
    • Well groomed, neat in appearance
    • Observe and abide by all Company procedures and safety rules
    • Ability to work and interact with others in a positive manner
