Searching for a Heavy Equipment Operator/ Forklift Operator in the Carlisle area with prior experience in an outdoor work environment.

Shift: 7:30am to 4pm M-F

Pay: 20-21 an hour based on experience

Description:

A company in Carlisle who stores heavy equipment on 29 acres (JCB, Hitachi, Volvo) in outdoor warehouse is seeking a equipment operator to assist in unloading equipment and moving equipment in the yard.

Job duties:

•Safely Load and unload heavy equipment machines (backhoes, bulldozers, skid steer loaders, trenchers, etc.) and parts to/from trailers using light and/or heavy forklift for the purpose of receiving or shipment from the facility.

•Operation of various heavy construction and mining equipment to accomplish receiving and shipping responsibilities.

•Performs preventative maintenance such as general equipment cleaning, checking fluid levels, and changing implements or attachments.

•Operate hand tools regularly used in loading or yard activity such as banding machines, or other commonly used hand tools.

•Refueling of equipment, gasoline, and diesel, checking of coolant and hydraulic levels.

•Complete Q/A forms & other forms on mobile electronic devices.

•Yard Maintenance: keeping clean and organized so units can be located and loaded safely and report any repairs needed.
