Job DetailsJob LocationSandusky International - Sandusky, OHPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionWe have an immediate opportunity for a Quality Engineer to develop systems, procedures, and work methods for process and product quality control:Create procedures/work instructions (standard work), process plans, and flow charts for current processes with a focus and emphasis on new productsFacilitate root cause analysis process for internal and external variancesUpdate quality manual, quality system procedures, and department procedures to be in compliance with standards and customer specificationsSchedule and conduct internal audits and participate in external quality auditsImprovement Projects as assignedQualificationsBachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineer preferred)

A minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality engineering in a manufacturing environment A minimum of (3) years auditing experience A minimum of (3) years of experience with formal process control and quality control and writing procedures for process controlA minimum of (3) years of experience in quality or engineering within a technical and highly regulated industryPreferred:
ASQ certification in quality engineering, auditingImplementation of quality system for ISO or AS9100Familiarity with NAVSEA or Defense requirementsCreation of complex spreadsheets or simple databases to accomplish routine work
