- Conduct site assessments and investigations to identify sources of contamination and assess environmental risks.
- Develop remediation strategies and design appropriate solutions to address soil and groundwater contamination.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and remedial action plans in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies, clients, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members and participate in mentoring activities.
- Conduct fieldwork activities, including soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well installation, and remediation system operation and maintenance.
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to evaluate the effectiveness of remediation efforts and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to environmental remediation.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or remediation engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or EngineerinTraining (E.I.T.) certification in the state of California.
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, including CERCLA, RCRA, and statespecific guidelines.
- Proficiency in environmental modeling software and GIS applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a demonstrated track record of successfully managing complex remediation projects.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
