Responsibilities Serves as a Business Support Assistant (eCommerce) at a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) HQ facility.

    The primary purpose of this position is to performs an assortment of administrative and technical duties in support of higher-grade specialists assigned to the principal functions in the Directorate.


    Position responsibilities include:
    Serves as the principal administrative liaison for the eCommerce Directorate. Maintains calendar of events and coordinates changes as requested by supervisor.

    Serves as the main point of contact for the directorate, arranging schedules of visits, making reservations, notifying organizations and officials to be visited, and submits travel vouchers.

    Serves as the timekeeper for directorate, inputting time and attendance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications See the OPM Qualification Standards for more information. This position is covered under Clerical and Administrative Positions.

    Your resume and supporting documents must show that you possess (A) 1 year of specialized experience, OR equivalent to the GS 06 level.

    (B) 4 full years of successfully completed education above high school that was complete in an accredited business, secretarial, technical school, junior college, college or university, OR (C) a combination of experience and education that equals 100% of the qualification requirements.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).

    Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

    You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Examples of qualifying specialized experience GS 07:
    Compiling information into interim and final reports. Develop charts, spreadsheets, graphs, and other presentation materials. Developing and maintaining project databases.

    Education Education used to qualify for this position must be from an accredited school or educational institution recognized by the U.S.

    Department of Education and a copy of your transcript is required as part of your application package.

The continued presence and assignment of appropriate higher-level duties and responsibilities. 2. The incumbent meeting both the official qualification requirements and time in grade requirements of the target position. 3. The incumbent performing satisfactorily in the developmental position. 4. The incumbent must pass through the intervening GS developmental position. The position involves access to or control over personal, private, sensitive but unclassified, controlled unclassified or proprietary information.

    The work of the position requires access to DeCA's business systems, such as DCPDS, DTS, and DCPS, and is designated as IT Level II.

    The incumbent interacts with Agency representatives at various levels and commissary customers in various mediums.
