    Summary



    This RN Director, Integrated Veterans Care (IVC) position is located in Community Care Service at the WRJ location. This position is full-time at 40 hours per week.



    Duties


    Included but are not limited to:

    • Participates in assessing the environment, forecasting trends, transmitting ideas and values, developing and implementing policies.
    • Manage fiscal and resource management, program development, customer service/patient satisfaction, hiring decisions, employee relations, standards of care/practice and the work environment for areas of direct responsibility.
    • Actively manages and develops collaborative partnerships with clinicians, physicians and administrative counterparts to achieve common goals.
    • Participates in VISN and Medical Center committees, union partnerships and professional community organizations to continuously improve the quality of care and resolve staff and/or patient care issues.
    • Responsible for strategic planning, performance measures and is accountable for the overall operation of VA Community Care, Clinical Operations, Referral Coordination Initiative and its programs.
    • Directly responsible for the administrative and clinical components of VA Community Care, Clinical Operations, and Referral Coordination Initiative. These departments/areas of oversight/supervision may be modified to meet organizational needs.
    • Provides executive leadership and direct supervision for the VA Integrated Veterans Care leadership teams.
    • Performs a full range of administrative duties and assures the implementation and maintenance of standards of professional practice in nursing. Is responsible for the development, organization, direction, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and maintenance of assigned programs.
    • Responsible for developing programs and follow up of actions required by internal and external review organizations and accrediting bodies.
    • Serves as a liaison for community vendors and other VA facilities providing care for Veterans.
    Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

    Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
