    How Will You Contribute to the Company? \ \ The Sales Lab Engineer role is a vital and visible component of the NetCloud Showpoint team.\ \ This position is an integral member of the Showpoint platform team reporting to the Global POC and Demo Cloud SE Sr.

    Manager.

    You will interact very closely with the team and extend our collaboration with the broader SE community and the Center of Excellence.

    The Sales Lab Engineer will enable physical hardware, virtual environments, and cloud infrastructure and own all lab documentation within the NetCloud Showpoint platform.

    This role assumes ownership of the Tonaquint (and others) Showpoint lab spaces.\ \ The Showpoint platform is a highly visible, diverse and mission-critical sales tool enabling Cradlepoint and their Partner Community to deliver exciting, compelling, and live demonstrations of the Cradlepoint portfolio to our customers and prospective customers.

    \ \ What Will You Do?

    Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing infrastructure, processes, and software
    Deploy, configure, and maintain all lab hardware and connectivity
    Management of hardware and software in multiple remote locations
    Embrace and enhance the platform\'s security protocols and processes
    Constantly improve the user\'s experience through quantitative service monitoring, alerting, and the use of data and operational dashboards
    Ensure all environments meet scale and resiliency requirements
    Consider the entire on-premises and cloud infrastructure when making changes and improvements.
    Support user-facing and internal applications
    Monitor submitted tickets; assign, escalate, and communicate, as required
    Develop and maintain documentation on operational, configuration, usage, or other procedures and processes
    Participate and contribute to platform infrastructure development

    Develop, configure, and troubleshoot automation techniques for Cradlepoint solutions and other vendors, such as Juniper, Cisco, Extreme, Ixia, Fortinet, etc.

    Assist in the deployment and configuration of lab equipment, processes, and tools to manage growth

    \ Qualifications \ Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor\'s degree (or equivalent experience) supported by two (2+) years of demonstrated lab engineering experience using test automation and CI/CD tools, containers, cloud infrastructure, and other modern technologies
    Mechanical experience deploying hardware and software in a data center environment
    Experience working with virtualization Platforms such as VMWare, AWS, Azure
    Preferred experience with IaaS (Terraform) implementing scalable cloud / On-prem based environments and systems; service-oriented architectures and microservices; deploying resilient, scalable, high-throughput systems
    Ability to install and configure software, gather test-stage data, and perform de-bugging
    Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
    Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
    Strong hardware/software troubleshooting skills
    Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Must be able to work independently and self-directed, as well as, within a team
    Excellent time management and the ability to balance many concurrent tasks
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up, team-oriented environment
