    Maintenance Supervisor III at WinnCompanies, Richmond, CA

    Description: Ready to join our awesome team at Monterey Pines? We are currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor III to oversee maintenance activities at our 324-unit property in Richmond, CA. This is not your typical supervisor role – it's a hands-on position that requires diverse skills to upkeep the property and ensure it meets management objectives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage maintenance staff daily, while also rolling up your sleeves to work alongside them
    • Assist in hiring, training, and supervising staff to meet operating standards
    • Participate in weekly staff meetings and prepare work schedules for maintenance tasks
    • Conduct regular inspections to maintain property standards and resolve maintenance issues

    Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • 5-8 years of relevant experience with 3-5 years in a supervisory role
    • Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record
    • Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office
    • Strong customer service and communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Vocational or technical training
    • 2+ years in a maintenance leadership role
    • Certifications in HVAC, Asbestos, Lead-Based Paint
    • Experience in residential property management and Real Page software
